How are veneers applied?

The dentist prepares the tooth before inserting the veneer. Occasionally, partial tooth enamel buffing may be required to ensure that the veneer is well-sealed. Sometimes, local anesthesia may be used at this stage of work. After this step, the tooth is cleaned with chemicals and the veneer is mounted on it.

How long do veneers last?

On average, veneers are said to be persistent around 10 years and possibly even longer. Nutrition and oral health are important. It is advisable to see a dentist at least twice a year to check up veneers and cleaning them. Most importantly, just use your teeth to eat, not to chew pencil, crush ice, or open the bottle!
